The Foundation is always looking for willing, able people, able and willing to help. Providing its range of services to parent/survivor support groups and to families, along with its work with the Council representing the 17 children's hospitals, is a lot of work for the Foundation's small staff team. If it weren't for the support and gracious gifts of time and talent from our many volunteers, it would be quite impossible to meet our obligations.
Here are some ways that you can help:
- Work on a specific special event such as our Gold Ribbon Gala or Cut Off Cancer
- Function as a survivor/parent "ambassador" or speaker at an event
- Help with general office tasks, such as stuffing envelopes or photocopying for large mail-outs
- Canvas or sell products, such as wristbands
- Perform telephone follow-up or canvassing duties
- Help with fundraising research or simply helping to establish leads
