Childhood Cancer Hospitals/Treatment Centres

Every year, about 1500 children in Canada are diagnosed with cancer. About 10,000 children are currently in treatment. Each of these children is treated in one of our 17 children's hospitals and childhood cancer treatment centres.

The Foundation has a unique partnership with the C17 Council which is made up of the leaders of oncology and blood disorders at each of the 17 children's hospitals and childhood cancer treatment centres in Canada. The Foundation is the principal funder of the Council and its programs, ensuring a strong, cohesive campaign to beat childhood cancer.
