It’s Not Just Brandon’s Mountain.....
Help Brandon raise $1 million to help 10,000 kids with cancer.

Most young men don’t climb mountains, particularly to benefit others, to help those in need.

But 13 year old Brandon Schupp from London, Ontario isn’t like most young men.

Last fall, Brandon’s four-year-old friend and neighbour, Cole, began a heroic struggle with neuroblastoma, one of the most severe childhood cancers.

And Brandon knew he had to help. In addition to fund raising to assist Cole’s family, Brandon is turning his mountain climbing hobby into a way to help all children facing a cancer diagnosis.

On July 24th, Brandon begins a historic two-week ascent of 10,000 foot Good Hope Mountain in British Columbia. Teaming up with the Childhood Cancer Foundation Canada, he’s dedicating each and every foot to one of the 10,000 children experiencing cancer in Canada today.

It’s called the Mountain of Hope and it can be a critical building block in the road toward a 100% cure rate for childhood cancer.

When he and his climb team reach the Good Hope summit in early August, Brandon will have helped to raise at least $1 million for childhood cancer research.

But Brandon needs your help. He can’t do this alone.

Here's what you can do.

First, consider adopting at least one foot of Brandon’s climb. It will be the most gratifying $100 you ever spent. Organizations should consider sponsorship or employee group programs to adopt multiple feet.

Visit www.childhoodcancer.ca and click on Mountain of Hope for information and donations. More than 90% of your donation will go directly to support pediatric cancer research. Your e-receipt will only take a few minutes.

Secondly, please pass this e-mail along to the 10, 15, 30 or more committed organizations and Canadian friends you know who want to make a difference in this world.

Come on Canada, let’s embrace young Brandon and what he’s trying to do!

Cancer kills more Canadian children then the next five most toxic diseases combined. Each year, we lose more than 30,000 years of potential life.

That’s a lot of dreams unfulfilled. A lot of hopes left unanswered.

The Mountain of Hope isn’t just Brandon’s mountain to climb. It belongs to all of us. His challenge is our challenge.

Brandon and Cole need you.

Show them and the 10,000 kids with cancer how much you care.
