Bienvenue à Montréal mes amis! Montreal is a cosmopolitan city with a European flare. It is located 57 metres above sea level on the Island of Montreal, the largest of a group of islands at the confluence of the St. Lawrence and Ottawa rivers. Montreal is the second largest metropolitan centre in the country and largest French-speaking city outside of France. It is a magnificent city with a great deal to offer any traveller. The downtown area is both the economic heart of the city as well as one of the most attractive and diversified sections of Montreal. There are many more areas worth being explored just a short subway ride away, including Old Montreal, and St. Helen's Island among others. You are invited to come and discover this fantastic city!

The planning committee is comprised of parents of children with cancer,
professionals and volunteers. Candlelighters, Leucan and Lamplighters have
brought a special flavour to the planning and together will host a unique
conference. Major sections of the conference will be hosted by individual
parent groups.
The official logo of the conference has been designed to represent the
three organizations which provide support, working together and climbing
the ladder of knowledge and provision of resources. Together they are watering
the flower to help it grow. The flower has some of its petals missing representing
the fact that families living with childhood cancer are faced with issues
and problems other families may not experience and life may be less than
perfect. The logo was designed by Immrod Construction. Special appreciation
is extended to Bronia Zaks Waldman for her assistance.
Exhibitors will host over twenty booths in the main conference foyer.
Displays will be of interest to parents, children, professionals and volunteers.
The exhibits will be open throughout the conference. If you wish to have
an exhibit table please notify the conference office. There is no charge
for exhibit space.
The Radisson-Hotel des Gouverneurs, located in the heart of downtown Montreal, is the site of the conference.
