Swish for the Cure: April 29, 2007
Elite Camps is hosting Swish for the Cure - a fun-filled day of basketball activities for 50 Ontario kids battling cancer. (See the flyer/pledge form, or pledge directly). The goal is to raise $50,000 for childhood cancer research. Your donation can help reach that goal and provide hope for a cure.
4th Annual Shave for A Cure: January 19th, 2007
This event will be held at the Ottawa 67s game at the Civic Center, game time 7:30. This event is organized by "SOS"- Smiling over Sickness, a committee formed by medical students at the University of Ottawa.
Students, faculty, physicians and community members will be collecting donations in return for shaving their heads or cutting off 10 inches during the intermissions of the hockey game. Mountain of Hope Campaign
13 year old mountaineer, Brandon Schupp, became the youngest person in history to summit B.C.'s Good Hope Mountain at approximately noon PST on Thursday July 27, 2006. Brandon and his team climbed the 10,000 foot mountain for the 10,000 kids in Canada currently battling cancer. Read more about the Mountain of Hope Campaign.
