Why the urgency? We have 5 new reasons everyday.

As a member of the Childhood Cancer Foundation of Canada (Candlelighters) board of directors you will have the rewarding opportunity to shape the future development of a dynamic organization, and in so doing, improve the lives of children and families dealing with the devastation of childhood cancer.

At any given time, there are at least 10,000 children and teens living with the affects of cancer. Despite the toll on families their circle of friends and associates, childhood cancer is largely unknown by the public, and receives less than 2% of all cancer research funding.

The Childhood Cancer Foundation of Canada is a national, charitable organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for families experiencing the effects of childhood cancer through the provision of resources, parent support and the promotion of research.
