Candlelighters Canada - Canada’s Childhood Cancer Foundation is a registered, volunteer based organization serving the families of children by providing information, support, representing children and family issues. (To learn about our vision and mission, click here.)

Originally established in 1987, Candlelighters Canada is a recognized leader in a national childhood network. Working with professional and volunteers organizations to develop a national childhood cancer program to identify, prioritize and meet the growing needs of children and their families. Candlelighters Canada programs and services are conducted at the national, provincial and municipal levels. Candlelighters Canada endeavours to ensure that every child with cancer in Canada and his or her family will have equal available resources from the time of diagnosis, through treatment to remission, or palliation and bereavement for the family and siblings.  (To find out who makes up the team at the National Office, click here.)
