The applications for the 1999 Olive Carter-Candlelighters Canada Bursaries are ready. These bursaries are available for survivors of childhood cancer who are planning to attend college or university. The Nardelli-Goddard bursary is awarded annually to a student survivor who is pursuing a programme in the creative or dramatic arts.
Applications will be available in all treatment centres, through local parent groups or from Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation Canada or download the application form here.
Deadline for submission is April 15, 1999. Winners will be notified by June 1st, 1999.
The 1998 Bursary winners will be posted shortly.

Candlelighters is proud to present this year's winners of the Olive Carter-Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Bursaries.
We were saddened to learn that one of the successful candidates Susanne Bross died before she knew she was to receive the bursary. Her parents have kindly agreed to offer Susanne's bursary to another student in the 1998 competition. It will be the 1998 Susanne Bross Bursary. We are grateful to Susanne's family for their tribute to Susanne.
