Dan Mornar
Dan is the father of two daughters. He works as the Patient/Parent Advocate for Oncology at BC Children's Hospital. He holds a BSc. from the University of Chicago and a Diploma in Family and Youth Counseling.
He has been involved in pediatric oncology since 1988 when his son was diagnosed at the age of 6 with neuroblastoma. He is also a professional musician. He sits as the chair of the BC Childhood Cancer Parents' Association and chair of the Starlight/Starbright Steering Committee for British Columbia.
Dan skis, kayaks and enjoys many outdoor pursuits that the BC geography permits.
