About the Parent/Survivor Support Groups

With approximately 50 parent/survivor support groups across Canada, Candlelighters Canada is providing an essential lifeline to parents and survivors in their communities. The parent/survivor support groups vary in size and in the programs they offer such as compassionate support, sharing experiences and knowledge, as well as assisting newly diagnosed families through networking, workshops and social nights. Each parent support group is a very special resource for families who have a child who is touched by childhood cancer. Hats off to the staff and volunteers for their dedication and great work in the affiliated support groups!
