Resource Catalogue

In developing the Resource Centre, Candlelighters Canada has responded to a great need expressed by families for specific, current, and reviewed information relating to childhood cancer.

In this catalogue you will find over 300 annotated books, pamphlets and videos addressing the many aspects of childhood cancer and its unique impact on all family members. Topics include information on childhood cancer, its treatments, symptom control, and long term effects. Psychosocial topics such as coping, school, siblings, bereavement and loss are included. The information is provided for parents, children with cancer, siblings, grandparents, professionals and volunteers.

Each of the books and pamphlets included in the Centre has been carefully reviewed by parents and professionals.

It is our hope that the resources will serve families by making the information you need easily available.

An order form is available for printed materials, as well as separate video order form . These may be printed, completed, and sent to Candlelighters to fill your order. In the near future, we hope to provide an on-line ordering service.
