Children / Teens Program
     Friday is filled with activities; games, crafts and a great chance to meet teens and children from across the country.

     Saturday offers three amazing field trips to choose from:
1. Metro Toronto Zoo: A "zoorific" time to be had. Fun for all ages. Buses will leave the hotel at 9am and return at 4:30pm. Lunch will be at the Zoo.
2. Sports package: If you like hockey and baseball, this trip will be the one for you. The morning will consist of a tour of the Hockey Hall of Fame and the afternoon taking in a Blue Jays’ game at the SkyDome. This is a walking tour. Lunch will be at the SkyDome.
3. Sites and Sounds: The morning starts with a tour of MuchMusic- the Nation’s Music Channel and continues with a tour of the ACC - Air Canada Centre and a ride up the CN Tower. This is a walking tour. Lunch will be at McDonald’s.

Sunday: children and teens will be preparing for their presentations during the closing ceremonies.

In August, the temperature should average 26°C (79°F) during the day and approximately 16°C
(61°F) at night.

Policies
SMOKING -- Childhood Cancer and the Family is a smoke-free conference. There are designated smoking areas and rooms in the hotel.
CANCELLATIONS -- Cancellations received in writing prior to June 1, 2000 will be acknowledged with registration fees being returned, less $50 for administrative costs. No refunds will be returned after June 15, 2000, but substitute registrants will be welcomed.

Language of the Conference
Simultaneous translation of keynote, some plenary and selected concurrent sessions, may be available if sufficient numbers of registrants indicate the need for this. If the need is not identified, the conference will be held in English only. Abstracts of concurrent sessions will be available at the conference in French and English. If requested by August 1, 2000, keynote presentations may be translated and made available following the conference.

ENTRY TO CANADA FROM U.S. -- Citizens and legal residents of the U.S. do not need passports although they are advised to carry them. Native-born U.S. citizens should have birth certificates and photo I.D.; naturalized citizens need naturalization certificates and photo I.D.: permanent residents (who are not citizens) need their alien registration card.
