Children / Teens Conference Activities
There are three programmes for children this year. The number of staff and volunteers working with each of the children’s programmes will be based on pre-registration and will ensure their safety at all times. Pre-registration is essential before June 30, 2000 for children and teens. Space may not be available for children and teens not registered by this date.

Infants and Toddlers, Birth to 4 years
Experienced Early Childhood Education staff and volunteers will be available to provide supervised day care from:

Friday and Saturday: 8:30am-noon and 1-5pm
Saturday: 6-10pm and Sunday: 9am-noon

Parents must provide all infant feedings, bottles, diapers and additional equipment. Parents must remain in the hotel while their infants and toddlers are in day care. Lunch for infants and children less than 4 years of age will be with their parents. Pre-registration for all infants and toddlers is essential.

Children and Teens, 5-16 years
Expert camp staff from Camp Oochigeas and The Trillium Support Programme and Camp has designed a creative programme. Both of these Ontario camps specialize in programs for children with cancer. The programme is guaranteed to entertain, educate, support and engage children. A trip is planned, out of the hotel, and away from the conference for Saturday. All children/teens must be pre-registered before June 30,2000 for this excursion.
Siblings who wish to remain together during the outing are welcome to do so, but pre-registration must indicate this. Lunch will be provided.
In addition to the above programme, teens may wish to participate in the session helping to plan the activities of CanTeen Canada. It is anticipated that CanTeen Australia will be sending support staff to help in the development of this programme. Teens are welcome to attend any of the sessions throughout the conference.
Pre-registration for all children before June 30, 2000 is mandatory.
