Childhood Cancer and the Family: Together We Care will be held at downtown Montreal's Radisson Hotel. The conference is co-hosted by Lamplighters Children's Cancer Foundation, Leucan and Candlelighters Canada. Dr. Leora Kuttner, well known author and child psychologist will provide the opening session and will offer special sessions for the children, Dr. Mark Greenberg, Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children, Dr. Mark Bernstein, Montreal Children's Hospital and Dr. Jocelyn Demers, St. Justine's, will present the latest in childhood cancer. Many other well known and respected speakers from Canada and abroad will cover many aspects of childhood cancer. Michael Cuccione, a survivor from B.C. will participate. Sessions are planned for moms, dads, siblings, teens and children with cancer. This conference promises to be a great event bringing you the latest in information and resources while making sure everyone has time to meet and mingle. Andre Philip Gagnon will provide great entertainment for the Saturday night fun filled family banquet. Other social events will make this one of the greatest evenings ever.
The registration form and preliminary programme will be mailed in January. All aspects of the conference will conducted in both French and English. Please register for the conference and the hotel early.
